Baker's Choice Revisited
In the Baker's choice problem students are asked to find out how many plain and iced cookies the Woos should bake in order to make the maximum profit. There are constraints on the amount of cookie dough, icing, oven space, and preparation time. The graph of the feasible region based on these constraints is depicted below. Plugging the vertices of the feasible region into the profit equation yields that the $212.50, with 75 plain cookies and 50 iced cookies, is the maximum profit.
